The main goals of the
Bluesun Hotels & Resorts are to be recognisable in terms of service and product quality, and continuity in promoting excellence, introducing novelties and future development.
In connection to these goals, and based on the long tourism tradition of the Bluesun hotels, we came up with the idea of organising a training course – the Bluesun Academy. The Bluesun Academy is our training centre where older and more experienced employees transfer their knowledge and skills to those who are younger and less experienced. The main aim of the activites of the Bluesun Academy is the continuous growth and improvement of the skills of all Bluesun’s employees – both permanent and seasonal.
Our employees are our greatest asset and we are aware that by focusing on them and investing in their growth, we can accomplish the main goals that the Bluesun hotels have.
There are two types of employee training - internal training and a supervisor system. During internal training, the employees work in groups, while the supervisor system focuses on the development of individual employees.
The main activities of the Bluesun Academy are:
- specialised courses in foreign languages (adapted to the needs of every hotel department)
- development of professional hotel skills, and
- development of management skills.
With the enthusiastic help and engagement of the more experienced colleagues, the Bluesun Academy trains and guides the young talents employed at the
Bluesun Hotels & Resorts. Judging by the numerous awards won by the Bluesun hotels every season, the idea about the academy that has come to life has turned out to be extremely successful and useful.
