This large cycling circular tour, intended for demanding cyclists, will present you with the richness of the southern and eastern part of Hrvatsko Zagorje.
On bicycles we will ride through Maria Bistrica, Oroslavje, Stubičke Toplice, Donja and Gornja Stubica.
After a short climb to the Wine Peak, we drive through small villages, green fields and shady forest to Oroslavje.
By driving along the country roads, along the castle, scientific park, we will arrive at Stubičke Toplice where we will visit the ranch with horses, the lake in the forest and enjoy the view of the Stubica valley and the Medvednica mountain from the viewpoint.
With the untouched nature of the Burnjak stream, by climbing through the village of Sveti Matej and downhill through Laz Bistrički we will return to Marija Bistrica. In all places where we will stop we will tell you stories about the history, culture, nature and way of life of the kind and hospitable inhabitants of Hrvatsko Zagorje.
The programme includes: - cycling guidance, use of bicycle helmet and backpacks with a bottle of water
The programme does not include: - bike rental, meal during performance, tickets or other additional facilities
The program is running for at least two people.
The program requires sports shoes.
The programme is really hard and technically undemanding
for up to 8 hours.
The distance is 71 km (65 km asphalt, 6 km gravel) with a
total ascent of 740 m..
