Krapina Neanderthal Museum – Best museum in Croatia!

Peasants' Revolt Museum - Gornja Stubica
The museum was founded on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the great Peasants' Revolt in 1573. It is located in the baroque palace of Oršić built in the 18th century on the site of a medieval fortress, whose remains can still be found in the courtyard.

In the museum there is a parking, gift shop, park,
cafe and restaurant, while the top floor of the castle arranged for seminars
and presentations. Nearby museums are nicely decorated park
kilometer long promenade that leads to the "Gupčeva lipa".

Veliki tabor

Veliki Tabor is one of the best preserved late medieval
and Renaissance fortified towns of continental Croatian.
It was built by the noble family Rattkay during the 16th century and holds the secret of the forbidden love of Veronica Desinic and young count Friedrich.

Museum “Old Village” Kumrovec
Ethno village makes up more than 40 restored buildings in the most traditional
landscaped area of Croatia, which captures the authentic look of Zagorje
village from the early 20th century. Contains reconstructions of old
craft workshops and valuable ethnographic collection of furniture, tools, folk
musical instruments, ceramics, textiles, eggs, postcards and greeting cards.
