Krapina Neanderthal Museum – Best museum in Croatia!

One of the most modern museums in Europe, Krapina Neanderthal Museum is located near the world famous sites of Krapina Neanderthal Hušnjakovo, with which it forms an integral whole.

Peasants' Revolt Museum - Gornja Stubica

The museum was founded on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the great Peasants' Revolt in 1573. It is located in the baroque palace of Oršić built in the 18th century on the site of a medieval fortress, whose remains can still be found in the courtyard.

In the museum there is a parking, gift shop, park,
cafe and restaurant, while the top floor of the castle arranged for seminars
and presentations. Nearby museums are nicely decorated park
kilometer long promenade that leads to the "Gupčeva lipa".

Veliki Tabor Castle

Museum “Old Village” Kumrovec

Ethno village makes up more than 40 restored buildings in the most traditional landscaped area of Croatia, which captures the authentic look of Zagorje
village from the early 20th century. Contains reconstructions of old craft workshops and valuable ethnographic collection of furniture, tools, folk musical instruments, ceramics, textiles, eggs, postcards and greeting cards.

Antun Augustinčić Gallery

The Gallery was founded in 1970, when Antun Augustinčić (1900–1979), who had studied in Zagreb and Paris to become one of the most prominent Croatian sculptors and an indispensable representative of modern Croatian art, donated his works to his native Klanjec.
